Young Girls Mentorship Programme (YGMP)
Young Girls Mentorship Programme (YGMP) targets girls from the age of 11–18. This is a delicate age where girls are trying to get to know themselves and understand their bodies. The Young Women Mentorship Programme will assist young girls in understanding themselves when they reach puberty and the adolescent stage. YGMP will help these girls to be ready for the changes that are taking place in their bodies. YGMP Annual Event will take place once a year towards the end of November, when girls have completed their final year exams. This is a great time as the girls will be readily available to tackle the mentorship programme.

Stationery Drive
The EWW stationery drive was launched in January 2020. The reason behind this drive was to assist parents who lost their jobs due to COVID-19 and to assist parents who are not working at all. We wanted to assist parents so that they never have to worry about stationery and school uniforms, especially at the beginning of the year when all learners are preparing to go back to school. Our first stationery and school clothes were donated to Dikgorwaneng Primary School.
Our way of giving back
- We assisted Little Bees Day Care and After Care Centre with stationery and gaming donations, doing our part to help the community. The donation was made in January 2022.
- Christmas Donations at Lesedi orphanage home at Hammanskraal, EERSTRUS on the 22nd of December 2017.
Sanitary Pads Drive
A research study indicates that: “An estimated 30% of South African girls do not attend school while they are on their period because they do not have sanitary products. Exquisite Women at Work (EWW) Pads Drive, strives to keep South African young girls at school. Every girl must be at school even when they are on their periods.
Career Guidance
Understanding that you have chosen the wrong course can be a strong reason to drop your studies. Most students start planning for their studies from Grade 9 and at that age, there is still a lot that learners must learn about themselves. University is a great place to learn about yourself and if students discover that they have chosen a wrong career path/course, this can lead to them dropping out of university.
