We assisted Little Bees Day Care and After Care Centre with stationery and gaming donations, doing our part to help the community. The donation was made in January 2022. Christmas Donations were made at Lesedi Orphanage Home at Hammanskraal, on 22 December 2017.

Understanding that you have chosen the wrong course can be a strong reason to drop your studies. Most students start planning for their studies from Grade 9 and at that age, there is still a lot that learners must learn about themselves. University is a great place to learn about yourself and if students discover that they have chosen a wrong career path/course, this can lead to them dropping out of university. EWW assists learners from High School in selecting appropriate subjects that will be in line with the career path they want to pursue at varsity.

Young Girls Mentorship Programme targets girls from the age of 11-18 years. This is a very delicate age where girls are trying to know themselves and understand their bodies. The young Girls Mentorship Programme will assist young girls to understand themselves when they reach puberty and adolescent stage and it will help them to be ready for the changes that are taking place in their bodies. YGMP will take place once a year towards end of November when girls have completed their final year exams, this is a great time as the girls will be free and ready to tackle the mentorship programme.

EWW stationery drive was launched in January 2020. The reason behind this drive is to assist parents who lost their jobs due to COVID-19 and to assist parents who are not working totally. I personally know how it feels to be raised by a single Mom who sometimes doesn’t afford essentials, we needed to assist parents to never worry about stationery and school uniform especially beginning of the year. Our first stationery and school clothes was donated to Dikgorwaneng Primary School.

Study indicates that: “An estimated 30% of South African girls do not attend school while they are on their period because they do not have sanitary products. Many often experience teasing in school when they attend while on their periods”.
